We review every enquiry individually. The questions below are not a formality: as an IT security company we fall under Germany’s sector-specific investment review (§§ 60 ff. AWV), and we are bound by EU and United Nations sanctions law. Complete answers save both sides months.
From ten per cent of voting rights, an acquisition by a non-EU investor must be notified to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. That is not a reason to decline. It is a procedure with deadlines that we have to plan for together.
02
Who is investing
03
Origin of the capital
We need these answers for sanctions and anti-money-laundering checks. They stay with the management and go to nobody else.
04
The proposed investment
We are currently not holding talks below EUR 2.5m.
From 10 %, non-EU investors trigger the AWV notification requirement.
Please name competitors too. A conflict of interest discovered later ends talks; one stated up front can be managed.
05
Fit and expectations
One concrete example says more than a list of buzzwords.
Growth, return, exit, strategic cooperation: as concretely as possible.
